...no I'm not defending the deceased at all; he could/should have complied better (I saw the tape), nor am I attacking the PD in this incident. I'm just saying this particular police department with its history really hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt, IMO, in these types of situations.
The "investigation" will tell all, I hope.
