Well, exactly! That's why I just wore three--and when I wore my pin, I was wearing a nice outfit too and I didn't want it full of holes. You didn't rank one honorary pin above the rest, you just scattered them under your GLO pin..I don't recall anyone getting grief about the order.
This was considered a big deal because Auburn's sororities are very achievement-oriented; go to any of the sorority websites at
www.auburn.edu and you'll see pages of each member's achievements. This is one way that Auburn PNMs choose their sorority--they look at the sites and they might say, "I want to be in student government and all those ABCs in SGA could help me with that" or "all the cheerleaders in DEF could help me get on the squad," or heaven forbid, "looks like XYZ has tons of members in all the cool groups so I want to be an XYZ. Only an XYZ."
Last week, I met a recent Auburn grad/Alpha Xi alum and she said no sorority at Auburn sucks--they're all big!
