I'll be praying for you as well. This may not be the same eye issue, but I know someone with boht eyes detaching. He had surgery done (a procedure where an adhesive was used to fill in the empty spaces) and he was one bed rest for a week, and went back to work after 2 weeks. It wasn't months or anything like that.
Stay encouraged and be sure to do some research as to what surgery may be best for you.
