Interesting...do you have any idea why? Drains I could see, but I don't understand any of the other ones. When I was younger I used to be very afraid of the skimmers on the sides of pools (those ones with the flapping doors that look like mouths opening and closing), but I eventually became a "pool rat," then on to swim team, and I lifeguarded too, so I'm over it now.

I don't know why I'm afraid of them, they just give me the heebie-jeebies. I love to swim, and have spent a fair amount of time in pools, so you would think I should have gotten over it a long time ago, but I didn't.
