I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss. My mother unfortunately passed away from breast cancer when i was 12, 10 years ago (jeeze where does time go???). That healing time for my family was very difficult because we all had to readjust with not having her around anymore...but time does heal all pain! I used to think about my mother and feel really sad, now I think of her and laugh over the fun times we all had together. It is still difficult, of course, because I am envious of all of the women my age who have an adult relationship with their mothers, because I will never have that.

I don't really know of any advice I can give you because everyone grieves in their own way. The only thing I can tell you is that with each year that passes, the pain that you feel becomes more bareable, and the love and the memories for that person never fades.
