Unhappy

I too am sorry to hear about your loss. Personally I haven't had to deal with a close loss but I remember when my great aunt died from it. It was the first time I saw my Grandmother cry. Since then I've been very aware about breast cancer. And just this year my mother had a lump and was worried it was cancerous. That alone made me freak out.
Breast cancer is hard to live with and I'm sure after someone passed on from it, it's still hard for the family. My recommendation is finding a group on your campus or within your community. They will often list groups like that in the newspaper. I also recommend donating time to the cause. It may not bring back your loved one, but it will make you feel better knowing you're doing what you can to find a cure.
Best wishes and much sympathy.
