I don't understand why it would matter if you were a new member, unless rooms are chosen on pledge class. But still, living in the house is an amazing experience, there is no better way to dive into sorority life. Just a warning. When I lived in our house, it took up tons of time, kinda the same amount as being an RA. The biggest difference was that is was POSSIBLE to split yourself from the inner-house drama. You just have to make a committment to leaving the house sometimes to do work... or at least at our house cause that place is crazy...
