So yay!

I'm trying to figure out if it's a good idea since I'm a new member, but at least one of the other new members is moving in...and I've been told it's such a great experience.

It'd cost less than living in the residence halls too, and no meal plan....woohoo

So what do you guys think?
I lived in the house from the day I pledged til the day I graduated. We had a large room which slept 6 downstairs that was called the pledge dorm. We always called it "The Pit" since it was downstairs. I am told it still goes by "The Pit" many eons later.

At that time, San Diego State only had one commons and it was clear across campus. Living in the house not only brought me closer to my sisters, was cheaper than the dorms, but we had a kitchen downstairs! No tramping across campus in the pouring rain if you had no classes that day (like on weekends when it always seemed to rain).

I would take this opportunity to move in. It is a great experience and is another part of your membership that can only take place while you are in school. Experience everything the school offers to experience. Soon you will be out in the real world and it will be harder to enjoy these experiences.
