I think that this topic comes up about once a year, so I have a mentioned this before... but for some reason groups like Beta Club and National Honors Societies were like co-ed sororities here in KY at some of my sisters high schools... they hazed and had hell week... really weird things. That is why some of them didn't want to be apart of a GLO at first...
Then one summer I was working at a summer camp and one of the older girl's and I were talking about sororities and that she was apart of her schools. She even showed me her year book with a school sanctioned picture. I won't desribe the picture but the actives were dressed one way and the "new members" were dressed another and I didn't find the dress flattering.
