I, too, am among the ranks of those from the DC area.
Let the record show that those of us in NorthWest say AREA, lol. No but seriously, the term urrea originated in PG County. FOlks from DC just said we're from DC.
One of my prophytes is from Philly, and he introduced me to the wonderful world of jawns, bwahns, and smuttin'.
I picked up "Let me find out" in high school. Like "Let me find out Madonna kissed Britney Spears!"
In college, I picked up "Bus' how" from my New York friends. It's sort like "Check this out"......"Bus' how I got robbed on the way to school!"
