Here in New Orleans, there are PLENTY, but here are only two. I am too tired to come up with more! I'm sure that someone will have my back. If not, once I get some sleep and am refreshed, I'll have more.

We "make groceries": to go grocery shopping ( There is no food in the house. I need to make groceries.)

We order our po-boys "dressed": means that you want mayo, lettece, tomato, pickles, etc. on your sandwich
Don't forget "Ya heard"! As in, the policeman was wrong to give me the speeding ticket, ya heard


I haven't made groceries in a hot minute
