Conventions, like Province Meetings, are so much fun! There are workshops and business meetings to be sure, but you also get to meet so many sisters and be inundated with KAPPA everything. It is such an awesome experience to see that many Kappas in one spot!
There is a memorial service for sisters who have passed on in the years between conventions.
The most thrilling thing to me is the Candlelight Banquet, or rather what happens at the end of it. If you want to know more, PM me.
The Key Source and BPA usually have booths set up, so you can buy Kappa things. I think there is also a Blue Owl Boutique like at PM--we have so many talented sisters!
There is even a convention paper called The Hoot which highlights what has gone on. Since there is so much happening at once, I think this is pretty ingenious!
Awards are given out, there is a parade of chapters, and so many other things that will make you so proud to be a Kappa Kappa Gamma. I promise that you will leave convention with renewed enthusiasm.
I'm sure there are things I have forgotten, but that should give you an idea.
