More specifically, the poor freshmen who had to move into their dorms the day before the first night of recruitment barely had a chance to get settled, let alone get used to classes and college life in general, before adding to the chaos with Greek life.

Wow, PHC had a hard time getting girls AFTER classes started this year! We waited for 4 weeks until we had recruitment. By that time, girls who may have been interested in going greek to meet people were already establishing themselves. Next year I think we're moving recruitment to the 1st or 2nd week of classes!
PS) What are some of your plans for good recruitment? My chapter had a nard time this year.
