This is so sad...but GPBoy and I had to plan to NOT dress alike. He was slightly less of a "prep job" than I am but there were so many days when we'd show up in matching outfits. We had these shirts (he copied me, I bought mine i high school) that were striped differetly but the same colors, and we'd go meet for lunch and both of us would have those on, white tee underneath, he'd have on khakis and I'd have on a khaki skirt, and sandals. His fraternity brothers used to make fun of us like crazy, and I think my sisters thought we planned it!

I think some of it is that people who are in a relationship for a long time tend to have a lot in common - like for us, it was khakis and blue oxford shirts.

I do have a friend from high school has made her boyfriend change outfits because it didn't "match" her - that's just sick! The only time I ever asked Lee what he was wearing it was either because i didn't know what the dress was like where we were going to dinner, or I wanted to make sure his shirt coordinated with my dress for formal pictures!
