and thanks for the support! my speech went very well and it was very good--i was very proud of it and many girls told me it was the best one of them all (wihich, of course, i agree with!) unfortuantely it wasn't enough and carly beat me out by a couple of votes for president.
boo to that. i didn't run for anymore offices because i was kind of bummed, but i don't regret it. i really am looking forward to getting old and enjoying no responsibility with emily, julie, tiffany, and the like.
i will need to concentrate on student teaching this fall anyway too, so i decided a while ago that if i didn't get president that i probably shouldn't run for anything else.
and i refuse to say anything bitter about last night, though i may feel just slightly that way.
i don't know how anyone else feels about elections, but i just hate how they are dealt with and the mental anguish they put girls through.
and i hope my "lil sis" didn't make you life too hellish! hey if you see her sometime, can you get all the stuff i gave her back for me??
lol . . . i'm only half kidding!! she was truly quite difficult to deal with, and i am disappointed that things turned out the way they did. but THANK YOU for all your efforts with her!! i KNOW from experience that could not have been easy. definite KUDOS to you for that!!
