My favorite experience on the subway was when I first got here. It was summer, hot as heck, and I happened to be wearing some shorts and a tank top (a little revealing, I guess, but nothing was hanging out!). I noticed the guy sitting across from me staring at me. OK, whatever. Then, he moved his bags over his lap. Then I heard the bags rustling, and him breathing heavy...I think you get the idea

It was, like, my second subway ride ever and I didn't think to switch cars or get off and wait for the next one. Thankfully, my stop was only a couple after he started. Blech! I still feel nasty just thinking about it.
Also, men like to "accidentally" lean their pelvis into you on the subway. So you move forward, but then they move forward. I have a friend, whose all of 5 feet tall, who turns to men whenever they do this and yells, "Do you mind? I don't need your penis touching me!"
BTW, I'm not saying this happens to me because of my overwheling beauty. It just happens to most women on the NYC subway at least a few times (well, the leaning into story at least!). It's just some nasty men around here!!!!
