One of the coolest things ever: I was in Student Council in high school and the summer bt my junior and senior year I got sent to a stu co leadership conference where there were probably 40 other high schools represented. We got seperated into groups of about 35 and I met this really awesome girl who I became instant friends with. My freshman year I moved into my dorm room at Baylor and I was traveling the hall meeting new people when I saw her!! We rekindled our friendship and had a great time catching up. After a really rough first year with the death of her roomate, she moved to another school in the same state. ANYWAY, I was at the ADPi district convention in Tulsa and I saw her there!!! She had joined at the campus where she moved to!!! It was so awesome.
I was at the Macaroni Grill in Corpus when this OLD lady (probably 80 or 90 something) comes up to me and puts her hand on my shoulder and said, I was an ADPi at such and such school a few years ago.

I was wearing our Black Diamond Formal shirt.
While I was flying to New York City my mom and I were in DFW airport and I saw this girl wearing a bid day shirt from Kansas. I introduced myself to her and we started talking. I discovered she was an alpha (pledge) which was good to know, so I didn't give her any info she shouldn't know yet!!!!
On my way home from Baylor to Corpus I passed girls all the time with ADPi letters. (I passed by Texas State, Southwestern, and UT) anyway, it was always cool to wave frantically out the window and do signs and junk. My boyfriend still makes fun of me when I do this. jerk.
