New Yorkers will relate to this...
One of my current faves is an ad for (I think) Mercedes. A woman is driving her husband to the airport. She asks him what time his flight leaves. When he tells her, she gets this "oh sh*t" look on her face and starts driving like a maniac because he's going to miss his flight. She pulls up at the terminal, he gets out of the car, and a skycap comes up to him and says "Welcome to JFK." At which point he jumps back in the car and yells "LaGuardia! LaGuardia!!"
I can suspend disbelief to the point where I can picture the Belt and Van Wyck with minimal traffic, but to believe that a skycap at a New York airport would say "welcome" ... nope.
