I don't feel for Carmen in any way shape or form. Isn't she the one that was talking about some of her class members' beady little slant eyes (for the Asian pledge) and didn't she say something about going to a Black school for several years therefore knowing what it is to have attitude (to one of the alumna after a comment was made about how kind she was before the process started and how she did a 180 after)? This girl is nuts and that is interesting to see because if memory serves, this is the same pledge who was an unapologetic brown-nose during the first episode. I remember her running around like a chicken with her head cut off trying to jump up and bend down for these girls -- and didn't she flip out during that same show saying that she couldn't concentrate on her work? She was doomed to be a problem from the first episode and it is sad that the sorority continues to pull her aside and tell her what she is doing wrong knowing that they had a basketcase at the beginning of the process. She would have had to answer to someone if she would have been treating sisters and MTV reps the way that she has . . . I guess it should all come out in the wash because they need a vote from everyone -- I actually don't agree with doing things that way, but since they are some local group, they are who they are and they do things the way that they do things.
If you have real problems with someone at the very beginning, why be surprised when things don't seem to work out in the end?
Oh, and one of those girls was playing the guitar during the talent search . . . she wasn't good, but I guess since she was one of the sisters, she got applause on top of applause. And, and, and that event didn't seem to be well-attended at all -- did they not advertise or was the venue too big? They probably should have taken something like that to one of the lecture halls in one of the academic building -- dang, I forgot that they were forbidden to film on campus.
