My first thought was not one of shock at all. Rumors have been flying for years. I don't agree with his adulterous actions nor do I support them.
Immediately, my second thought was that this is all a ploy to divert the public eye (esp. African American) from the nomination hearings! The timing was too perfect.
Many, many people will take the moral high ground on this one and totally lose respect for this 'man'. I personally may not respect his morals when it comes to the sanctity of marriage and family; however, I have to, HAVE TO respect his politics. The work that he's done for our community as well as on an international level where OTHERS have completely failed has been phenomenal.
