I work for a store in Bellingham, WA (the store is part of a large chain in the Northwest). There is a university (Western Washington) but NO Greek Life. For the closest Greek campus you either have to travel 2 hours south to Seattle (University of Washington, which has a HUGE Greek campus), or drive about an hour north across the border to Vancouver, BC to University of British Columbia (where I was initiated).

I happened to be wearing my Alpha Phi lanyard (which hold my timecard) and one girl in my line has her 2 ADORABLE small kids. She says, "Hey I am an Alpha Phi from Wazzoo (Washington State) and so is my sister."

It was pretty cool that we connected. We chatted a while and I looked at her daughter and said "Hey you got a legacy there!"
