My brother & sister-in-law always host Thanksgiving dinner on their farmette (35 acres). They have between 10-20 people, depending on how many people we each know who have nowhere to go. It gets interesting! We get semi-mauled by their herd of Dobermans, eat too much, play board games (Tackle Pictionary & Balderdash are favorites) and head home much too late to be driving in the extreme dark.
We weren't sure if it was going to be there this year, as my s-i-l's father recently had his bladder removed for cancer. But he's doing well, so the plan is on. With any luck at all, I'll head to Chicago to see my honey the next day!
I'm thankful for so much! For my health, for a roof over my head, for computers, for common sense, and my sisters!!
