I don't really know if I will watch the Source Awards this year. I am an avid fan of hip-hop, but most of the time I don't agree with the assessment of artists in the magazine and I almost never agree with the choice of recipients.
And, most of the performances are really good but there's little to no response from the audience. It's all artists in the audience and I guess they're too big to applaud or even respond to another artist's performance. It's only the local people who buy or win tickets who respond that remind me that everyone else is actually alive.
