The pro of total is that a new group or a small group has a fighting chance with the older, more established groups. For example, my chapter is only 4 years old and we are the second in size after fall COB. If we didn't have total, then all the ladies would go one way for the most part (due to age, because all the groups have good reputations) and the rest of us would be struggling in size.
The whole idea is that all the groups should be about the same size and not have to struggle for numbers. So as you can see I am a pro total person. Could someone tell me the cons?
