Well I will try to say this with out stepping on any toes.. and if I do, it was unintentional so LIGHTEN UP!
"Blacks" as a whole seem more united then "whites". That just seems to be the way our society is. How many of you that are white, actually notice the fact that you are white?? Most minorities cant help but notice that they are what ever their particular race is and they tend to use that as a bond between them.
I would be willing to be that most whites dont know too much about their ancestry, and the fact that we a re just looked at as "whites" kind of throws everyone with pale skin into one group and disassociates us from our backgrounds.
