i may be reading this wrong, but are you suggesting that sorority or fraternity life follow a national glo? if you are, that would never happen. i can not think of any nationals that would allow one of their chapters to participate because they know that the editing would make the chapter look like all they do is drink, haze, etc. exactly what we are seeing now with the locals. here is an example for you. i went to school that has a fairly large and active greek community. it was either cnn or msnbc, i want to say msnbc though, were planning on coming to my school my junior year. they were doing a story on greek life and wanted to speak with fraternity and sorority members on campus. every single chapters hq found out about it and we were all sent letters saying that we were not allowed to speak with any of the reporters at all. the greek affairs dept also told us this. the people filming the story found out that no one would be speaking to them and ended up cancelling coming to school to do the story. unfortunately, with editing, no matter what you say can be twisted, either into a positive or a negative, regardless if you meant it to be that way.
