Been Here before

Hoosier, i know we had a small discussion abou this earlier as well so I'll try to keep this short. I was in your position two years ago after the first sorority life came on. There was some stealth advertising by TNN or rather what is now I think Spike TV which I still like. They were looking for a fraternity to host an event and they would sponsor it. Good deal huh? I became interested because we could get national recognition for an event that we didn't have to pay for. Awesome idea! Nahhh... I asked them to write to me personally and inform me of more details. A huge thing happened then. Deltalum and I think Tom Earp (yes the same) were apart of my antagonists as they tried to disuade me from going through with it. Actually Deltalum contacted my nationals about it and thus put an end to that. However, I recieved word back from the show and they were interested and they said that they would creating a reality based event with a "surprise" that I would not know about. Sorry... Click! All along I was fighting Deltalum and Tom and they were right. However, I did egg them on a little. Sorry bout that'! With the track record that reality based TV shows have had on Fraternities, I now see that these are just last ditch efforts by failing locals that don't have good enough sense to know a bad thing when they see it. And you can quote me on that. Again, it would really be interesting to see a 80 member National GLO house at a major university on TV, I think you would probably see a completely different show. Like one that was not at all interesting.

Peace
