I have the Alpine Village and I want to get started on Christmas in the City. My mom usually is the one to get me pieces (then she knows something fun to get me for Christmas) but I did purchase a few myself. . . The vonTrapp Family Villa and Sound of Music Wedding Church. I have found out that ALL the pieces I currently have are retired. . .but that's okay
Overall it is difficult to find places that carry my village. My mom has Dickens and New England so between the two of us we do rather well with the number of pieces we have! LOL I can imagine how it was easy to justify purchasing more pieces than expect - "But honey, they were half off so I get to buy twice as many!"
