I HATE getting woke up by the phone ringing - HOWEVER I'm making an exception for this morning (though it was a REALLY odd dream but aren't they all!). My phone call this morning was from the principal at Assumption HS (my alma mater as a side note) asking if I could sub on 4 different days going all the way out until April!!!!
This is a good sign as this means I'm on the top (or VERY close to) the top of the sub list - and this is where I want to teach once I get farther into my Theology MA.
One of the days is Friday which overlaps my work schedule, but only 45 minutes or so and I hope that Family Video is able to let me come in a bit late (Its a 2-9 shift so there will be plenty of overlap, etc - plus, I'm part-time there and working OVER 30 hours a week - and helped out at another store on my day off this week!! LOL). Mind you, I really do prefer to sub/teach than working at Family Video but need that extra paycheck.
Oh, also keep your fingers crossed as I had an interview for a position on campus (Student manager of the Brewhouse) last night and I REALLY like the job. Don't feel so hot about the interview because most of my answers rather rather abstract - but I have the experience of Cafe Supervior for Borders as well as other 'supervising' experience. . . we'll see as they are making the decision by next week.
Anyway, just wanted to share (and get the board lively again!!!)
