Interesting article. Actually, I'm surprised. I tend to find that many black educated professionals are homeowners. However, they have no savings or other assets. I know many folk that make money but can't seem to find the balance between spending and saving - I was in the same boat.
I have a frat brother that is vp for a bank and he tells me of huge amounts of money that many make but owe it all to credit cards and car payments.
Personally, I know how hard it is to break the cycle of having things that have no real value.
