I lived in Minnesota for almost 3 years in the late 80s-early 90s and I can say it is a good place to live, just too DARN cold!! I could not get with snow from October to May.
There was definately a lot to do, although the nightlife was a bit lacking. Is the Riverview still opened? I was cracking up the first time I went to a night club there and they turned on the lights at something like 12:45. "You ain't got to go home, but you got to get the HECK outta here!!" LOL
