I think I've got it straight now
Like I've said before, there is no need to totally cut off one group. But like DGMarie said, you may want to concentrate your efforts where you are getting the best response. There may be a very legitimate reason why one group is not jumping at the chance to welcome an AI right now. It could have nothing to do with you personally, but until that becomes evident, enjoy the relationship that you are forming with the other group.
