I have a dual major of Sociology and Social Work...I didn't really intend on making this my major @ first, I was really interested in Sports Broadcasting/Journalism simply because of my love for sports...However, after, a few semesters and doing some volunteering/mentoring, I realized that I would love nothing more to be able have a directly positive influence on impressionable children/young adults...I saw the positive effect that I was having (not to brag
) on some of the children, and I realized that Social Work was my calling...I also realize that I have to be smart (and that I would like to compensated for my hard work
), so I'm going to get my masters in Social Work.
