People are just overprotective of their own feelings and inconsiderate of others these days. They feel like they must hit back every time they feel slighted. They need the upper hand in any perceived conflict -- a feeling of superiority.

This is like someone I encountered last night on the way home. I was driving home on a country road, totally out in the middle of nowhere. I encountered an old red fort pickup doing about 40 in a 55. So I passed him.

A few seconds after I had passed him, I guess he realized it, flipped on his brights and sped up to match my speed right off my rear bumper. I then proceeded to brake-check the SOB. I hate tailgaters

I mean, what did I do to him? Is it not reasonable to expect to be passed when you're going 15MPH under the speed limit? The world is too much like this. It's a cultural thing that I really can't understand.
