I did it and loved it. I had an "Advanced Internship" working as a group facilitator for the Youth Education Series. Basically, I took field-tripping groups of students around the parks on educational programs. It was very fun, and a great learning experience. My roommates were pretty cool, and the pay was alright. I'm sure my attitude would have been very different had I been slinging hash at the Electric Umbrella, though.
