Hey Ladies,
Well I have just finished reading "If this world were Mine", and I must say that I am totally feeling quite sympathetic for Basil. I think he's misunderstood, and he needs help to get over the things in his past.
As far as casting goes...Basil supposedly has these peircing GRAY eyes. They always talk about how light he is, and a scrumptous, tasty, delectable, fione, and sexy as Morris Chestnut is, I don't think he'd fit the part
I can kinda see Rick Fox, cause he has the pretty boy persona, maybe add some gray contacts, and there ya go!!
I think that Stacy Dash might play a good Nicole, although she isn't as dark as they make her seem in the book.
I can totally see someone like Chris Tucker playing the part of Kyle, not because Chris is feminine or anything, but b/c of how comical Kyle is in the book (Ya'll do know that Chris Tucker is my future husband!!!)
Raymond...the jury's still out on that one, but if I think of something I'll let you know...well, I guess I have spoke my piece today...at least in this topic
