Yes, Andi is right.. Nationals makes the final decision regarding alum status, not your advisor. Don't stress too much about that. As long as you are in good standing, then there's no reason she shouldn't sign it, as studying abroad is reason to be granted temp. alum status. Hang in there and don't do anything that you are going to regret later.
