Well, you can buy a student pass (either by season or for the year) but if you want to bring a guest, it's an extra $15. The tickets for Apple Cup are now given away in a raffle so that the overnight, or week long lines don't happen.
There were only 3,000 dad's weekend passes sold on Monday, so the rest is student seating, and reserved seating. The only other problem is after you have a ticket, you will have to wait in line at the gates before the game starts to get in. The gates open 2 hours before the game, and people get there (some, not many) the night before so they have the first spot in front of the gates. When they get in, they run straight to the 50 yeard line seats, so it is worth it. In the past couple years, depending on who we are playing, the lines have been starting up to 3-5 hours before the gates open, which is 5-7 hours before the game starts.

The weather wasn't too nice last night either. I can imagine many trips were made to the Pita Pit not for food, but for substitute hand warmers.

Actually, not a whole lot of people left, except to trips to dissmores and the gas stations to use the bathrooms. There was one group that had a BBQ, which was weird and handy at the same time, and a lot of people had.. well, liquid warmth.
