I thought the Peyton story tonight was kind of random. The show is still pretty new and they haven't developed her character enough to throw in such a serious issue. If there had been a build up to why she is the way she is, then it would have been insightful.
And since they are finally giving us some background about Karen and Dan, can we please find out if Lucas and Nathan are supposed to be the same age and, if so, what the heck happened there?!?
