Don't know how it is now at Ohio University, but when I was there, you just had to show your student ID.
In fact, for many years, the team was so bad that they allegedly would give a full scholarship to any student who stayed for the entire game. Just kidding, but most left after the Marching Band show at half-time. The team is much better these days. The band is still a huge draw.
Now, I know that this will meet with scoffs -- but I think it's really a shame that students have to pay for athletic events at their schools. But if they didn't there wouldn't be seats for all of the big dollar alumni. Without all of that money, there might really be more parity in college sports.
And the athletes wouldn't drive such nice cars.
