Hmm...we don't have to do any waiting. But I would love to only have to pay $15 for a student ticket. But then again I'm part of a continueing NCAA Record 260 consecutive sellouts dating back to 1962!!!
As a student here at Nebraska, you have buy season tickets, no single game seats available. This year the tickets were cheaper than the last two years...we only had to pay $154 (or $21 per, plus $5 service charge for using the internet to order b/c there was no other way). If you want someone other than a full time student to use the ticket you have to pay a validation charge which is the difference between student price and face value. I had to pay an extra $34 for a student ticket I got for my little brother this past weekend. However, I only have to pay $25 for men's basketball season tickets (19 games) so I guess it all balances out.
We do have it set up so that you can sit in blocks. The fraternities and sororities pair up for block parties for the duration of the season. During the ticket lottery in the spring, students can join ticket groups which are entered in the lottery as one entry, so that entire group gets tickets in a near continuous group in the stadium.
