Here's something else I don't understand about some of these interestees:
How do you feel that kissing my butt(or the butt of a member of whatever BGLO you are seeking membership into)on the INTERNET is going to help you out AT ALL on your CAMPUS?
What I'm trying to say is that you can go to all the chatrooms, forums, and websites that you want to, but if you don't make yourself visible to the chapter that you aspriring membership to, it is all in vain. Sure we can give you some advice or whatnot, but overall WE CAN'T HELP YOU GET IN.
I get sick and tired of seeing these people come into forums talking about "If anyone can e-mail me some info about your organization my address is...". DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK. There are no handouts in Greekdom, ladies and gentlemen. If you really have the love for the organization, you will do your own research.
On another note, PLEASE make an honest assessment of WHY you aspire to be a member of that organization, because we DO NOT need any more t-shirt wearers or "incognegro" frat and sorors. If you are not coming in ready to WORK(and I don't mean just in step practice), then please find something else to occupy your time. Just because you feel that group XYZ "runs the yard" or "has the tightest parties/steps" does not necessarily mean that it is the organization for you. Conversely, that also does not mean that they will accept you for membership. Ask yourself what you can do for the organization, not what being in that organization can do for you. If you were a nobody beforehand, sorry to say it, even after you cross and sport your letters you will STILL be a nobody.
