I open my check today, and there is all this paper in there. So I read the stuff. THESE BASTARDS HAVE CANCELLED OUR VISION (& DENTAL) INSURANCE!!!
Now, can you EVEN believe that mess??
I always talk about the perks of being a contractor/consultant. This is one of the downfalls of the mess. I have NEVER worked for a company where my benefits were based on the use of said benefits by other employees. The letter said that based on the feedback study conducted (in which I did NOT participate, nor know anything about), no one used these benefits. WTF?! SO WHAT!!! If I want to pay for it and not use it, that's MY business!!! I mean, there has to be some type of compensation for this. And the amount of money that I am saving per pay is almost unseen. A whopping $13. Naw, something has to be done about this.
