--Now let's all go buy PIMP juice because Nelly sells it and that's ok.
There was outrage and protest over that product as well. It did not get picked up by mainstram media with the same umph and did not get as many "bg" names weighng in therefore did not become as big of a news story.

WHOSE GOT THE (PIMP) JUICE? Better not answer that unless you wanna get boycotted.

(Sep. 9, 2003) *After reading about Nelly's Pimp Juice you really thought that it was gonna be all good? Did you really believe that no one was going to protest the situation? Yeah, we didn't think you were that naive.

This morning at 10 (West Coast time) a coalition of black organizations are stepping up to the task. Led by activist Najee Ali, the coalition is set to launch a national boycott against the energy drink and the stores that carry it.

"Nelly is selling out because he only cares about making money, just like pimps and drug pushers. We intend to chase Nelly's Pimp Juice out the black community," stated Ali, National director of Project Islamic Hope.

The press conference/boycott will be staged at The Liquor Bank, 3600 Stocker Blvd. (Crenshaw & Stocker)
