I feel that it was rather gully the way the members delt with Meena, but oh well. After hearing all the stuff she was saying like 'if I wasn't living in the house, best believe no body would have seen me'--or something to that affect. Why join? I am happy to see that she got into Harvard and that she just be her main focus right now. So depledging her may actually be a good thing for her.

It was nice to see that the other pledges--well those who live in the house that is--came to her defense. I feel that is what sisterhood is about, but let's not forget that there are more pledges than those in the house. If Meena has not gone to any events, then how did she expect to bond with the other pledges and the actives? The "house" pledges were basically looking at it from their own view, but they really needed to look at the views of the actives. I am sure that if they were the actives' view, they would have agreed. I feel that Meena had no consideration for the organization from jump: She left early on the pledges' first meeting. Come on. Another thing that bothered me was eventhough she didn't make it to most of...OK ALL of the events, she should have at least called the actives to first apologize for not coming and get some feedback on the event. Obviously, she didn't do that.

P.S. Sorry for the long reply
