Second Serving: Ron Isley’s protégé’s JS (Johnson Sisters) are releasing a new single this week called “Love Angel.” The ubiquitous R. KELLY produces the track, and the music video was recently shot in Chicago. R. Kelly makes a cameo in the video.
In other JS news… It’s no secret by now that the 62-year old Ron is dating 24-year-old JS singer Kandy Johnson. Note to De6: There's hope for you yet.
Ron also managers Kandy and sister Kim, who also sang background for The Isley Brothers on recent tours. For whatever reason, most people don’t realize that Ron and Angela Winbush have been divorced for more than two years.
