The road to the NBA Championship goes through San Antonio. While the Lakers used the off-season to get older and in legal trouble, the Spurs added youth and consistency with the additions of Rasho Nesterovic, Ron Mercer, and Hedo TurkeyGlue. With the addition of Horry off the bench, a much more rested Horry than the lakers had last year might i add, the Spurs will once again be one of the most complete teams, starters and bench included in the NBA.
Duncan will not play center against Shaq, because he is not a center, the man is a PF. One of the reasons he stayed in SA instead of bolting to Orlando a couple years ago was the assurance of Pop that he would remain a forward and the team wouldn't push him to center.

i was talkin about the 2001 championship i think. when they went 15-1 in the playoffs.
spurs got lucky this year. they wont be any good with robinsons big ass in the middle anymore
