My mother has been a widow since she was 33. I am glad that she didn't remarry when I was a child. She didn't even have a steady boyfriend until I was an adult. She dated him for almost four years, but they broke up. I wish that they had gotten married. He had been married, but didn't have children. It was nice to see my mother happy with a boyfriend.
