Predator have been elected governor. Bush bashers continue to air their views in the media, as if no one heard the first time. that smart guy with a bow tie continues to inform and entertain with guest commentary and as host.
In sports:
the Cubbies could win a world series, ending the curse.
the Red Sox could win the world series, ending their curse, and defeating an arch rival. these two teams could meet in the world series, followed by a riot or cataclysmic disaster. cataclysmic is a word, right?
In health:
I broke my arm. However, I've found some really great ab workouts that I like.
In money:
I'm broke. But it's cool, I've got friends and hobbies.

A Heartbreaking Tale of Staggering Genious is now my favorite book. It's Peanuts season: great pumpkins, and Thanksgiving dinner, and Christmas, Charlie Brown...turkey day and channukah providing better food, but Halloween brings the sweet.
