I usually get mine touched up when its fading really significantly. I think that is something that I will do for as long as I feel the need to. It's kind of a grooming thing for me, if your tatoo doesn't look presentable then you are less presentable.
I belive that I will always were my tatoo proudly because it is something that is so imprtant to me. I think of it as my permenant badge. When I notice it each day it reminds me that I am representing ZTA and that's not something that stopped when I left college.
ZTA made such a difference in my life not only because of the bonds I have made (and continue to make) with other women as sisters but because of the standards that ZTA has help me set for myself.
For me, our creed is one of the most beautiful literary works that I have ever come across and I simply try to live by it each day. I have several reminders to help me do that, including my tatoo
